FIG. 2 is a front elevational view of a second embodiment of the design of FIG. 1 showing a right hand bookend;

FIG. 4 is a top plan view of the bookend of FIG. 2;

FIG. 5 is a third embodiment thereof.

FIG. 6 is a fourth embodiment thereof; and

FIG. 7 is a fifth embodiment thereof.

The opposite sides of FIG. 1, FIG. 2, FIG. 5, FIG. 6, and FIG. 7 are mirror images of the side shown.

The bottom surface of the bookend as well as that surface abutting books when in use are flat and unornamented.
