Description

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a tire showing an embodiment of a new tread design. It is understood that the tread pattern, as shown in FIG. 1, is repeated over the outer circumference of the tire and the tread shoulder. The side of the tire opposite the portion of the tire shown in FIG. 1 is substantially the same as that shown;

FIG. 2 is an frontal elevation view of the tread of the tire of this invention;

FIG. 3 is a side view of the tire of this invention, the other side being substantially the same;

FIG. 4 is an enlarged fragmentary plan view of a portion of the tread of said embodiment shown in FIG. 1;

FIG. 5 is a cross sectional view of the tire of this invention taken along line 5--5 in FIG. 2; and,

FIG. 6 is an enlarged fragmentary plan view of a portion of the tread of a tire showing a second embodiment of my new design which is substantially the same as the first embodiment except that there are four ribs diagonally across the thread instead of three ribs. The tread pattern of the second embodiment of the tire is understood to be repeated throughout the circumference thereof as in the FIG. 1 illustration of the first embodiment, and the sides of the second embodiment of the tire are substantially the same as the first embodiment as shown in FIG. 3.
