FIG. 6 is an enlarged view of detail 6 of FIG. 5.

The said design is characterized by an inward recess in the hull of a square stern canoe, along a longitudinal axis thereof. The recess has generally parallel sides, and a depth tapering down from the stern toward the front end of said canoe.
