FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the tank cap for motor vehicles viewed from the side, and from above with the key cover open showing our new design;

FIG. 2 is a perspective view similar to that of FIG. 1 but showing the tank cap with a left-hand thread and the key cover closed;

FIG. 3 is a top plan view thereof;

FIG. 4 is a side elevational view thereof;

FIG. 5 is a bottom plan view thereof;

FIG. 6 is a perspective view of the tank cap for motor vehicles viewed from the side, and from above with the key cover open showing a modification of our new design;

FIG. 7 is a perspective view thereof viewed from the opposite side and from above but with the key cover closed;

FIG. 8 is a top plan view thereof; and,

FIG. 9 is a side elevational view thereof.

Except for the positions of the conventional threading on the base and the ovate protrusion on the key cover, the front and rear of the cap of FIG. 1-5 are the same in appearance as the side that is shown in FIG. 4.
