FIG. 1 is a bottom view of a golf club wood head (shown in broken lines) incorporating the sole of my new design, which includes a claw-like polished surface on an otherwise unpolished sole;

FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the sole of FIG. 1 as viewed between the rear and one side;

FIG. 3 is a rear perspective view of the sole of FIG. 1;

FIG. 4 is a side elevational view of the sole of FIG. 1;

FIG. 5 is a side elevational view of the sole of FIG. 1 opposite the side elevational view of FIG. 4;
