The ornamental design for a protectivecovering, as shown and described.
The design is for a protective covering adapted to protect a user and the
user's chair from messy spills. The protective covering is constructed
from a washable, durable, and liquid resistant fabric. The protective
covering includes a body having an upper portion and a lower portion. A
pair of collar straps are attached to the upper portion and provide a
means for attaching the protective covering around the user's neck or the
user's chair using a hook and loop fastener such as a VELCRO fastener. A
"hook-type" strip is attached to one collar strap and a corresponding
"loop-type" strip is attached to the other collar strap. The lower portion
of the body has a hem or casing. An elastic gather strap is positioned
within the casing. The fabric of the lower portion "gathers" or "cups"
around the chair and around a tray and/or other equipment proximate to the
user's lap when the elastic gather strap is drawn and attached to the
chair. A pair of elastic loops are attached to an edge of the lower
portion and provide an additional means for gathering the protective
covering around the user and the user's chair.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a protective covering showing my new design
in the position of use; the broken lines showing a wheelchair and occupant
being for environmental illustration and forming no part of the claimed
design;
FIG. 2 is a front elevational view thereof; and,
FIG. 3 is a rear elevational view thereof.
The broken lines shown on the claimed invention throughout the views are
understood to represent stitching.
