FIG. 1 is a front, right and top perspective view of a mechanical pencil with the cap disposed on the erasure end thereof showing my new design;

FIG. 2 is a front elevational view thereof;

FIG. 3 is a rear elevational view thereof;

FIG. 4 is a right side elevational view thereof, the left side being the same in appearance as the right side;

FIG. 5 is a top plan view thereof;

FIG. 6 is a bottom plan view thereof;

FIG. 7 is a front elevational view thereof with the cap disposed on the writing end thereof; and,

FIG. 8 is a sectional view taken along line 8--8 in FIG. 2.
