This invention relates generally to the field of measuring tapes.
The art is full of tapes that read left-to-right, that is, the beginning of the tape is on the left and the tape unfurls toward the right. The problem with this is that a right handed user cannot mark a measurement with his right hand; rather, he must mark the measure with his left hand or read the tape upside down while marking it with his right hand. Applicant's invention overcomes these problems by numbering the tape from right-to-left.
A first object of the invention is to provide a tape that a right handed person can use to measure and mark a measurement with his right hand.
A second object of the invention is to provide a series of marks to indicate number of feet and inches as well as a running inch total.
