FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a vehicle air filter housing, wherein air intake openings are defined in the upper cap portion thereof;

FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the filter of FIG. 1 opposite from the view of FIG. 1;

FIG. 3 is an elevational view of the filter shown in FIG. 1;

FIG. 4 is a top view of the filter of FIG. 1 wherein holes like those of FIGS. 1 and 2 are disposed in the area enclosed by broken lines;

FIG. 5 is a bottom view thereof; and,

FIG. 6 is an enlarged view of an area defined by circle 6 in FIG. 4, showing a pattern of holes defined in the area by broken lines in FIG. 4.
