Concave shelving

Abstract

Description

Concave geometrical shelving assembled and mounted onto a wall. The seven open shelves are shorter in length at the bottom and top, with each subsequent shelf growing increasingly longer so that the center shelf is longest, forming an overall circular shape. The backs of the shelves are flat to fit at a ninety degree angle to the wall, while the front of the shelving is curved. The shelves are wider at their edges and curve concavely at their centers. Two shorter pieces of frontally concaved wood or other material fit perpendicularly between each shelf providing support and spacing. These concave supports are placed at uneven points between each shelf creating a geometric effect.
