We claim the ornamental design for icon on a portion of a vehicle display unit used in a global warning anti-collision system or similar article, as shown.

FIG. 1 is a front view of an icon on a portion of a vehicle display unit used in a global warning anti-collision system or similar article showing our new design;

FIG. 2 is a second embodiment thereof; and,

FIG. 3 is a third embodiment thereof.
