A characteristic feature of the design shown in FIGS. 1–4 resides in a flip-flop style sandal having a flag or other country emblem positioned on the outside foot strap as shown, and a sewn tab positioned on the foot strap thong as shown, wherein the sewn tab is imprinted or embroidered with text corresponding to the emblem.
