The ornamental design for a mounting portion of a cookware handle, as shown and described.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a mounting portion of a cookware handle according to the present invention and shown attached to a portion of a pot.

FIG. 2 is a side view of the mounting portion of the cookware handle of FIG. 1, the opposite side view being a mirror image thereof.

FIG. 3 is a front view of the mounting portion of the cookware handle of FIG. 1.

FIG. 4 is a rear view of the mounting portion of the cookware handle of FIG. 1.

FIG. 5 is a top view of the mounting portion of the cookware handle of FIG. 1; and,

FIG. 6 is a bottom view of the mounting portion of the cookware handle of FIG. 1.

The handle portion, and the boundary between the handle portion and the mounting portion, shown in broken lines in FIGS. 1–6 are included for illustrative purposes only and form no part of the claimed design.
