The claimed gem set hollow sphere is used as a component in jewelry, and can be used as a part of a necklace, earring, bracelet, or ring. The sphere can be produced with any precious or semi-precious metals. The front face of the sphere has a cut out opening which allows for interior gem settings and additional interior embellishments of oxidation, patina, or enamel. The interior and exterior can be set with a variety of precious, semi-precious or synthetic gem stones, pearls or beads.
