The portable information terminal can function as a computer, a wireless communication device, a media reproducing device for music, a movie, or the like, a game console, or the like. The portable information terminal can be folded so that a display portion is on the inside. The portable information terminal includes the display portion in a front side surface portion. The portable information terminal is used in a folded, unfolded, or curved state as necessary.
