FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a valve assembly comprising an upper section, lower section, and a ring insert, where the upper section and lower section can be fabricated from steel and the ring insert can be fabricated from a carbide;

FIG. 4 is a left side view of the valve assembly of FIG. 1;
