FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a row of four seats, with an aisle between pairs of adjacent seats, in which assembly of two seats, showing our new design, with this pair of seats providing an aircraft wheelchair accommodating seat assembly;

FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the aircraft wheelchair accommodating seat assembly of FIG. 1, with seating surfaces provided in a configuration for normal seating use thereon;

FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the aircraft wheelchair accommodating seat assembly of FIGS. 1 and 2, with the seating surfaces adjusted to a configuration for sliding the aisle seat over the adjacent seat;

FIG. 4 is a perspective view of the aircraft wheelchair accommodating seat assembly of FIGS. 1, 2, and 3, with the seats of the aircraft wheelchair accommodating seat assembly disposed in a narrowed configuration, with one seat providing a seating surface for seating thereon together with an open floor area between the aircraft wheelchair accommodating seat assembly and the aisle;
